🌿 Our Wellness Approaches

Three approaches, explained simply

Learn the basic idea behind each approach before you book an enquiry.

🪡

Acupuncture Therapy

Acupuncture uses very fine needles at selected points of the body. It is commonly discussed for pain and other wellness concerns, but suitability should be assessed individually.

🤲

Acupressure Therapy

Acupressure applies manual pressure to selected points. Sessions are generally non-invasive and are planned around the person's concerns and comfort.

🫧

Cupping Therapy

Cupping uses cups placed on the skin to create suction. Temporary marks can occur. A practitioner should decide whether it is suitable for you.

💡 Useful Knowledge

What should you know before a session?

A good wellness visit starts with clear information and realistic expectations.

What happens during an initial visit?

You can explain your main concern, previous treatments and relevant health information. The practitioner can then discuss whether a wellness session is appropriate and what the session may involve.

Can I continue my regular medical treatment?

Do not stop, change or replace prescribed medicines because of a wellness therapy. Tell the practitioner about important medicines and ongoing medical care so your care can be discussed responsibly.

Are these therapies suitable for everyone?

No single therapy is suitable for everyone. Pregnancy, bleeding problems, certain medicines, skin conditions, implanted devices and other circumstances may affect suitability. Share your relevant history before treatment.

What about sudden or severe symptoms?

Do not wait for a wellness appointment if you have severe chest pain, sudden weakness, difficulty breathing, loss of consciousness or other emergency symptoms. Seek urgent medical care.

Will one session guarantee a cure?

No. Results can vary, and no therapy should be presented as a guaranteed cure. Ask about the expected goals, number of sessions and limitations during consultation.

Before you visitKeep a list of medicines, relevant reports and your main concerns ready.
During the sessionTell the practitioner if you feel pain, dizziness, discomfort or unusual symptoms.
After the sessionFollow the guidance provided and contact a qualified medical professional if symptoms are concerning or worsening.
